The monthly meeting for the Homesteaders 4-H club was held Friday, February 13, 2015.
President Liberty Mathis called the meeting to order at 1:17. Molly Scruggs led the prayer. Bailey Monnahan read a devotion from Proverbs 16:3. Foster Krempin led the pledges. Audrey Wheatley did the roll call; members answered with what one thing they did yesterday. Audrey read the minutes. Shiloh French moved to accept the minutes. Foster seconded it; the motion passed. Ben Mathis read the treasurer's report. Our ending balance is $3,483.39, of which $1,100 is in the scholarship fund.
Tish Linke-Krempin will contact Peachfork Orchards about us coming in April.
Since there are new members Bailey moved to set the Fraser Rec Center budget at $325 for 27-30 people. Foster seconded it; the motion passed.
Let Ben know if you are going to District Retreat so he can write a check. Shelly can email the new spreadsheets or give them to you for the fruit fundraiser.
We will be doing a Cloverbud Night for Miss Caitlyn on Wednesday, April 22nd - 5:30-6:30. The theme is gardening. Contact Shelly to be on the organizing committee. This is a good leadership opportunity.
The club will be making terrariums with Marcia Wyatt at the March meeting. Ella Hubbard moved to do the terrarium workshop and families do a cost-share with the club. Shiloh seconded it; the motion passed. The club will pay $10, and the families will pay $5.
The next meeting will be Friday, March 13th.
Sego Krempin will do the prayer, Audrey will read a devotion, and Molly will supply refreshments.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:05. Foster moved that we adjourn the meeting. Kenna Wall seconded it; the motion passed.
