Minutes for July's Meeting

The monthly meeting of the Homesteaders 4-H club was held on July 1, 2013 at the Kremmling Community Church.


President Shyla Bohall called the meeting to order at 1:05 P.M.  There were eight members, four adults and no guests in attendance.  Pledges were led by Audrey Wheatley. Molly Scruggs took the roll call.  Mrs. Mathis read the minutes. Ben Mathis moved that we accept them, and Liberty Mathis seconded it.  Liberty Mathis read the treasurer's report. Bailey Monnahan moved that we accept it and Molly Scruggs seconded it.


Old Business:
Kum and Go books? Gymkhana July 20th, Do we need anything?  Who will be there?


New Business:
We will be giving a $250 dollar scholarship to every graduating member of our club starting with Shyla and continuing on to future graduates. Liberty Mathis moved and Bailey seconded it; it is to be given at the award banquet.


Demonstrations were given by Bailey Monnahan, Molly Scruggs, Shyla Bohall, Julie Aprill, Audrey Wheatley, and Foster Krempin.


Announcements:
Fair is in thirty-two days! Bring your record books to sign by the next council meeting on July 24th. 
Fairground clean up is also on the 24th.  
We will be needing more volunteers for the Rocky Mountain Farrier Competition July 26-27.  
Mrs. Mathis will be giving a presentation on July 16th at the Library about her trip to Africa.


Ben Mathis moved that we adjourn the meeting, and Molly Scruggs seconded it; the motion passed.
