Operation Christmas Child - It was decided that we would pay for the contents and shipping of four shoe boxes, girl 5-9, girl 10-14, boy 5-9, boy 10-14. We went to The Mountain Doller and spent $13 for each box plus 7 dollars shipping.

We need to think of some community service ideas.

After our meeting we will kick off the knifty knitters to make hats to donate to the Steamboat Springs hospital. Anyone can knit these, even "non-knitters," even boys. Ha! A wonderful communtiy service project to participate in. Details explained at the meeting. If you have a baby size kniffty knitter loom, or some yarn, bring them.

Jan. 22nd ~ 1:30 pm at Kremmling Community Church
We will have a short workshop on leadership and then work on hats again for a hour or so.

We want everyone to feel comfortable in how to make the hats and then you can make them on your own in your spare time. This is an on-going project.
