Recap of September 2021 Meeting

Meeting Date: September 9, 2021

4-H Council Meeting Report

Achievement Night date has not been scheduled, but it will be catered and there will be a dance afterwards.  This will all be held in the Dance Hall on Fairgrounds. 


The council meeting for October will be the 8th at the Extension Hall.  There will be officer elections and food provided. Come vote on your county officers; or better yet, turn in an application for a position.  Transportation is usually provided from Kremmling to Hot Sulphur Springs for the meetings.


Old Business

Record Books--keep the judging sheet and your record book from last year.  Use it to improve your record book next year.  If you have questions, please ask Tish or Marcy.  


Fruit Delivery--ideas that would make delivery smoother 

  • Dolly for courthouse delivery

  • Knowledgeable person at courthouse for location of offices/people


New Business 

Thank you - Cliffview Assisted Living Center and Silver Spruce Senior Apartments


Community Service

The club voted to donate $150 to Mountain Family Center to be used where they need it.


National 4-H Week - October 3-9

Each family was assigned some businesses/offices that support 4-H to which to deliver cookies along with a thank-you note. See the list at the end of this e-mail for your assignment.  If there are other businesses/groups that you would like to thank (and are not on this list), please do so.

Recap of July 2021 Meeting

Meeting Date: July 8, 2021

4-H Council Meeting Report

Fairground Cleanup/Council Meeting - July 16th =  clean up starts at 9 AM.  Contact the extension office as they will have lunch also.  Council meeting will follow the cleanup.  


*Also sign up for concessions during fair.  Justin has sent an e-mail for sign-up.  Time slots are 2 hours.  Need an adult and 3 kids for each time slot.  (Let me know if any of you want to do it but need an adult; I will see if I can fit it into my schedule) 

This counts towards trip assistance through 4-H Council since it is a Council fundraiser.

Old Business

Fair Entry Online--Deadline for entering the fair is Friday, July 16th.  Contact the extension office if you need help or to make sure you are entered in all that you need to be.  

**For non-livestock projects (general, home ec, etc.) make sure you have signed up for an interview time on Exhibit Day, July 30th.


New Business 

Thank you - cards were signed for Wood Cattle Company for hosting our meeting and cookout and for Kim Cameron/Grand Gazette for advertising for our fruit fundraiser


Record Book Completion

**Make sure your record book is signed by a leader before Exhibit Day for non-livestock projects and for all other record books that are due after the fair.
