March 4th, 2022

Tubing Details

Where: Old Fraser Tubing Hill, 455 County Rd 72, Fraser, CO  80442

When: Friday, March 4th at 11 a.m.

Bring: Please bring a school ID or homeschool letter of intent to prove you are a local student, if you have one handy–they have never asked to see them before..

Cost: The club will pay for each 4-H member and one parent. Additional family members will need to pay for themselves.

Lunch: Tish and Marcy are making soup.  Please bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share and serves 8 or more.

Need a ride? I can take a couple kids to tubing and meeting if parents can’t go–just let me know.

Friday, March 4th after lunch at Krempin’s house! (We can caravan from tubing to Tish’s in case you don’t know where it is).

Youth Fest - March 25-27, Pueblo, CO - State Fairgrounds - deadline to register is March 18th.  

District Retreat - April 1-3, Glenwood Springs, CO - sign up on 4-H Online; deadline to register is March 15th

March 19th - Colorado’s Meat-In Day

Next 4-H meetings:

            March 11th at Kremmling Community Church - 1:30 pm (our regularly scheduled time)

  • Not a complete meeting and I don’t expect everyone to be there

  • I am offering it so Harms’ girls can do demonstrations and anyone else that wants to do one then

  • As well as count as a meeting because some can’t go March 4th

  • I will also offer record book help at this meeting so come with any questions you may have


April 8th at Hot Sulphur Springs Town Hall - 1:30 pm 

  • Will be a regular meeting with voting, officer reports, etc.

  • Club will be preparing Easter baskets, etc. for HSS for their Easter Egg Hunt

If you are requesting trip assistance from County Council for Youth Fest or District Retreat, it must be submitted at this meeting.

Contact Extension Office to find out where to meet her or to ask for a ride (970-724-3436).  

The suburban leaves the fairgrounds at 6:30 p.m.
