Recap of February 2020 Meeting

New Business 

Palisade Fruit Fundraiser
Tish will contact the county to see when we can sell fruit.  March 25th or April 8th

Put it on your calendar that we will have peaches delivered to us on Monday, August 17th!

Community Service
Club voted to buy 150 cookies from Starla Rindt ($75) for cookies for Kremmling’s Easter Egg 
Hunt.

Trip Assistance
Club voted to give Lexi trip assistance to District Retreat--$75.

Other Expenses
Club voted to get a gift for Lacy ($75) as she will be leaving the state next month. A Colorado cutting board was decided as the gift.

March Meeting Volunteers

Refreshments - Club will have a potluck at Krempins’ following tubing.

Homesteaders Club Announcements

Next Club Meeting - Friday, March 20th @ the Krempins’ following tubing
Meet at Old Fraser Tubing Hill at 11 am for 60-90 minutes of tubing.  Bring student ID or letter of intent to prove local address. After tubing we will meet at Krempins’ for a potluck, 4-H meeting, and filling Easter eggs for HSS.


Middle Park 4-H Council Announcements
Next Council Meeting - Monday, March 4th @ 7:00 p.m. @ the Hot Sulphur Springs Town Hall
District Retreat - March 6-8, 2020, Glenwood Springs - registration is due by February 6th with the extension office.

4-H and COVID-19

4-H Families and Volunteers,


As of today, March 20, 2020, all face-to-face 4H activities have been suspended until May 15th. This includes: Meetings, trainings, clinics, etc. Scheduled events that will be effected include:
                MQA- Scheduled for May 15th
                                We are looking into alternative modes of facilitation.
                Club meetings
                                If leaders are interested in conducting meetings via Zoom, let us know and we can help with this. We are considering reducing the number of required meetings.
                Demonstrations
                                Members can do a demonstration at home, video and send to club, or postpone.
                4-H Council
                                April and May meetings will be cancelled. Officers, watch your emails for updates on what you can do to help.
                Cloverbuds
                                Cancelled until further notice.
                Shooting Sports Safety Meeting
                                Postponed, date TBD.

Given all the changes in schedules, State Fair nominations are now due for all species, to our office by June 1st. Ownership dates on species have not changed.

The University Resource Center that supplies all 4-H literature has been closed along with the rest of CSU. We will do our best to make sure you have what you need in order to complete your projects.
