The monthly meeting for the Homesteaders 4-H club was held Friday, June 24, 2016.
President Liberty Mathis called the meeting to order at 1:51 p.m. Evan Crandall said the prayer in absence of Foster Krempin. Audrey Wheatley did the roll call. Members were to respond with the description of their favorite summer activity or moment. There were 5 members and 5 parents/leaders present. Audrey read the minutes. Ben Mathis moved to accept the minutes. Evan seconded it; the motion passed. Ben read the treasurer’s reports for April and May. April’s ending balance was $4,362.23. May’s ending balance was $4,348.81. Evan moved to accept the treasurer’s report. Audrey seconded it; the motion passed.
Old Business:
The outdoor adventure day will be on the 24th of July.
New Business:
Audrey read Jill’s thank you card to the club thanking us for her scholarship and the fun times she had with our club.
The original budget was 36% scholarships, 33% community service, 20% club activities, and 10% miscellaneous. Ben moved to adjust the budget to 5% miscellaneous and 42% scholarships. Kenna seconded it; the motion passed.
Our general plan of action was not changed from previous years.

Before the meeting Ben, Audrey, Evan, and Kenna Wall had done their demonstrations.
