The monthly meeting for the Homesteaders 4-H club was held Friday, July 8, 2016
President Liberty Mathis called the meeting to order at 1:16 p.m. Foster Krempin led the prayer. Liberty read Psalm 86:11-12 for the devotion. Foster led the pledges. Shiloh French said the roll call in Audrey Wheatley’s absence. Members were to respond with their favorite ice cream. There were 5 members and 3 parent/leaders present. Shiloh read the minutes in Audrey’s absence. Foster moved to accept the minutes. Taylah French seconded it; the motion passed. Ben Mathis read the treasurer’s report. $6,100 in fruit sales was deposited this week. The standard report will be tabled till September because the bank statement has yet to arrive and also Ben is absent.
Old Business:
Tish will ask Phil at the Peachfork Orchards when our final peach count is due and when peaches maybe delivered to us. Shiloh made a motion that we purchase 15 additional boxes of peaches. Taylah seconded it; the motion passed.
New Business:
The 4-H adult and Member award nominations are due September 2nd. We will make them during our peach deliveries August 19th.
